FUPAC in Dominican Republic

Since its founding, FUPAC (The Foundation for Community Assistance / Fundación Pro Ayuda Comunal ), under the leadership Dr. Emilio Villegas, has organized doctors of different medical specialties to serve communities in need through voluntary medical and dental services, plus nutrition and housing. The organization consists of a Board of Directors located in New York and one in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The current president in New York is Antonio Lopez, advised by the Founder Antonio Collado. The Director of the Board in Dominican Republic is Ramon Rodriguez.

FUPAC has worked in the northern region of El Cibao while supporting communities of Juncalito, La Vega, Dajabón, Majagual, Baitoa, La Placeta, Rincón de Piedra, Janico, El Chiflito, Constanza, San Francisco de Macoris, La Canas, Los Montones, and Puerto Plata. They have collaborated in dental and medical missions with the Catholic church at Mamatoco, Santa Marta, Colombia since 2009. And beginning in 2016 they have also collaborated in Haiti (Cap Hatien).

Participating doctors include: Sixto Caro, José Fulgencio Delmonte, Victor Peralta, Ingrid Peralta, Rafael Rodriguez,  Ramón Pimentel, Nadia Martinez Pimentel, Denisse Betancour, Richard Francisco, Genaro Taveras, Jacob George, Rebecca Raoof and Nabil Raoof.
