For more than ten years, through FUPAC (Foundation Pro-Community Assistance) and under the leadership Dr. Emilio Villegas, doctors of different medical specialties have been assisting patients in need.
FUPAC is a foundation dedicated to serve the communities in need through voluntary medical and dental services, housing and nutritional support. The organization consists of a Board of Directors located in New York and one in Santiago (Dominican Republic). The current president in New York is Antonio Lopez, advised by the Founder Antonio Collado. The Director of the Board in the Dominican Republic is Ramon Rodriguez.
FUPAC had been present predominantly in the region of El Cibao while supporting communities in the Dominican Republic: Juncalito, La Vega, Dajabón, Majagual, Baitoa, La Placeta, Rincón de Piedra, Janico, El Chiflito, Constanza, San Francisco de Macoris, La Canas, Los Montones, Puerto Plata.
FUPAC collaborated in dental and medical missions with the Catholic church at Mamatoco, Santa Marta, Colombia in July since 2009. Beginning 2016 they have also collaborated in Haiti / Cap Hatien.
